Building Designer / Architect

Location: Warragul & Wonthaggi

AD Building Design is currently seeking a full time Building Designer or Architect with three to five years, experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and proactive professional with strong Revit capability who is passionate about delivering high-quality documentation and contributing to the ongoing development of BIM systems and workflows across the practice.

Working across our Warragul and Wonthaggi studios, you will play a key role within the documentation team, supporting the delivery of projects across health, commercial, residential, community, industrial and council sectors. You will contribute to construction documentation, technical coordination and consultant management, while also helping to maintain and improve our CAD/BIM standards and office wide documentation protocols.

What we’re looking for

•  Minimum Advanced Diploma of Building Design (or equivalent)
• 3+ years full time experience on commercial and residential projects in Australia
• Strong proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office
• Comprehensive understanding of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards
• Proven experience preparing construction documentation and detailed drawing packages
• Experience managing drawing control and coordinating consultant documentation
• Ability to assist with BIM strategies, model setup and Revit template management
• Strong technical problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident communication skills when liaising with clients, consultants and authorities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
• Proactive, self motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
