Andrew Donohue

Andrew is the owner and director of AD Building Design. With 20+ years’ industry experience as both a building designer and inspector, Andrew has successfully grown the business of AD Building Design. Andrew has always loved working with people to see their ideas become reality, whether that is a Mum & Dad investor or larger organisation. His work is about finding solutions or creating new ideas.
Ian Enderby
Associate
Qualification:
- Associate Diploma of Architectural Drafting R.M.I.T.
- Bachelor of Art/Architecture (Honours) Deakin University
- Registered as a practicing Architect (16292)
- GBCA Green Star associate
With a comprehensive background in Architecture, Ian has honed a diverse skill set that encompasses design, design development, construction documentation, quality assurance, and contract management. He has successfully overseen the execution of numerous projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and regulatory requirements. His experience as an associate has enabled him to facilitate communication channels and keep stakeholders informed at every stage of project development. Additionally, his skill in setting short-term milestones has been instrumental in maintaining project timelines and achieving milestones efficiently.
Jacob Dakin
Senior Designer
Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma of Building Design
Jacob has been working with AD Building Design for over 10 years. He is a Building Designer on both commercial and residential projects, in the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shires. Jacob is one of our senior designers and provides leadership to our team. Jacob’s work is featured on the website.
Brittney Patterson
Building Designer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Bond University
- Cert IV in Building and Construction (Building)
Brittney is a Building Designer with extensive experience on both commercial and residential projects. She brings over 7 years of expertise in architectural design, documentation, and project coordination, delivering thoughtful and practical solutions that align with client needs. Brittney is passionate about sustainable, human-centered design and has a strong understanding of construction codes, planning policies and regulatory requirements
Elizabeth Daly
Graduate Building Designer

Elizabeth is a recently graduated Building Designer who brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the team. She is gaining experience across residential and commercial projects, developing her skills in design, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Her collaborative approach with colleagues and clients supports clear communication and strong project outcomes. With a focus on expanding her knowledge and refining her practice, Elizabeth is committed to contributing to purposeful and practical design solutions.
